Gallery M Platform is pleased to present the spring exhibition 'Dreamscape' at JM Gallery on Portobello. The featured artists are Prachi Gothi and Tong Wu, a wonderful collection of art, abstract and whimsical, curated by Mari Kim.

Join them for their opening reception on Thursday 20th April from 6 pm - 8 pm and all are welcome to the artists talk on Saturday 22 April from 6 pm - 7 pm. Please book via the Eventbrite link if you wish to attend.

Prachi Gothi's art explores the ephemeral bridge between reality and imagination, exhibiting the power of daydreams and fantasies that evoke suppressed emotions of loving, hope, nostalgia and a sense of wonder that can surface in moments of solitude.

Tong Wu is inspired by his early life in a Chinese collective, and he intertwines naturalistic elements with vibrant colour and figures, juxtaposing sweetness and danger, utopia and dystopia, fantasy and reality. Wu's paintings often depict dreamy gardens alongside disaster and horror, embodying the subconscious influence of contemporary society's concepts of narcissism, materialism and social media.
