S.O.F.A Exhibition 2022

The Society of Feline Artists (S.O.F.A.) proudly presents the "S.O.F.A. London Exhibition 2022", a collection of artworks celebrating the glorious feline form.

Founded in 1994, S.O.F.A. brings together artists who have a mutual love of cats and aims to promote excellence in and appreciation of feline art. Our members have a thorough understanding of their subject, and it is with deep appreciation that they use their artistic talents to capture them - from the mischievous antics of kittens and cubs, through to adult feline elegance and grace (and some not so graceful!)

As well as big cats and domestic moggies, breeds such as the British Shorthair, Birman, Siamese, Burmese, Bengal, and Persian are just a few of our members' portrayals. Artworks also range hugely in terms of style, from extraordinarily detailed portrayals to more abstract or comical themed pieces - all of which span a host of different mediums such as acrylics, oils, watercolours, charcoal and colour pencils. In recent years, the Society has also welcomed the addition of fine art prints, jewellery and sculptures to its ever-growing collection.

S.O.F.A. has developed considerably since its humble beginnings. In addition to gallery shows, it now hosts regular online exhibitions and gives members opportunities to promote their artwork through S.O.F.A's online platforms.
